Every Fortnight garment is made in Canada with precision and purpose – designed to extend beyond seasons and trends. By stripping away the excess and focusing on enduring, well-designed classics, their garments celebrate minimalism and the natural female form, championing the idea of curating a personal wardrobe with style and intention, special piece by special piece. Since launching in 2010, Fortnight has produced their lingerie out of their Toronto studio, with their own team of skilled craftswomen who share a genuine passion for creating beautiful, well-made undergarments. From the first sketch to the final stitch, every piece is constructed with the utmost care and attention to detail.
Motivated by exceptional quality and craftsmanship at every step, Fortnight uses soft, long- lasting materials that are both delicate and functional. Investing in carefully sourced, high-functioning fabrics – such as light-weight Italian jersey or lace from a family run mill in France – ensures longevity and enduring comfort, so garments retain their precise fit and contour, wear after wear.
Producing in-house has allowed Fortnight to expand consciously, reducing waste wherever possible and encouraging the careful consumption of fewer made-to-last pieces, worthy of care.
Cut from patterns developed by hand, each garment is constructed with strategically placed seaming to create a soft, natural shape with unparalleled support and endurance. Each size is scaled by hand for a more accurate grade. Because our bodies don’t necessarily increase in standard increments, they base their sizes off of fittings on real women, not a machine algorithm.
